In November 2005 just after completing a Bachelor of Communications at the University of Malta, Matthew joined the ONE News team as a journalist.

His promising performance within this flourishing department eventually led to his current position as manager of the News & Current Affairs department.

Matthew seeing the news industry as fascinating finds it very appealing to manage the journalists within ONE News, gathering and vetting the daily news, organizing schedules and attending to organizational needs.

At a personal level, Matthew is a member of the administration of the Floriana Football Club, he likes listening to commercial dance music and eating everything except vegetables and fruits which funnily enough doesn’t reflect in his physique.
