Total power failure hits Malta again, the second such failure in a matter of weeks
Delimara station lost power just after 7.30pm throwing the entire island and Gozo into darkness.
Good Friday processions were hit by the blackout with motorists using car headlights to aid the processions.
Power began to be restored to some parts of the island about an hour later with more areas getting electric back gradually.
In a statement Enemalta said a fault at Delemira caused the blackout
